RIDE FREE

The second full length album from Toro and the National Guard, captures the unique flavor of Kalamazoo's own country rockers.

Featuring three songwriters and fifteen instrumentalists, RIDE FREE is a unique pastiche of American music, celebrating everything from shit-kickin' country pop to psychedelic noise experiments. Recorded at Strutt Studios in the summer and fall of 2009 by Andy Catlin and Ben Lau, the album captures the excitement of the band's live show while creating a unique sonic landscape only possible through studio wizardry and creative music production.
